Kinder Morgan Terminals Deepwater Terminal Coal Handling Facility required a cofferdam in order to install the below grade concrete coal handling structure and tunnel.  The cofferdam was designed to withstand soil pressures at a depth of 65’ and allow the forming/placement of concrete.  The cofferdam utilized PZ27 sheets, W36x256 Walers and 24” diameter struts to withstand the pressures.
