The project consisted of the restoration and renovation of a historic building façade on Union Avenue in Memphis, TN. Chick-Fil-A bought the property and wanted to make room for outdoor seating and a drive-through fast food restaurant by demolishing the existing structure. Although the existing structure was to be removed, the owner wanted to preserve the front wall of the structure and transform the space into an outdoor seating area. CSA designed and developed a permanent decorative shoring system for the existing building facade to successfully support and shore the front wall while providing new space for outdoor seating.
